ABOUTWOOSAH
Woosah is owned and maintained by the Founder and his family. Being a passionate backpacker himself, the founder travelled all over India and volunteered in 58 backpackers hostels. Woosah is brainchild and amalgamation of all the experiences he gained from those travels.
The name “WOOSAH” is an expression used to achieve a state of calmness and realization. Though the origin of the term is vague, it was popularizied by famous hollywood movie franchise “Bad Boys”. Ironically, despite of the movie being known for it’s violence, the word represents something very close to Ladakh i.e peace.
ABOUTSTAFF
Woosah’s staff comprises of experienced professionals, travel enthusiast who work round the clock to ensure that you sleep, eat and enjoy well. Apart from maintaining a lively atmosphere and vibe for the travellers, the staff also organises the recreational activities whether it be an adventure activities like trekking, hike or basic recreational activities such as city tours, barbeque or movie nights, star gazing and bonfire.
