Guest Policy

 
1) Registration & Check in/Check Out Protocol: 

A. Check-in begins at 11:00AM IST and Check-out time is before  9:00AM IST.

B. It is mandatory for guests to present a valid photo-identity at the time of check-in. All occupants of the room are required to present their id proofs. According to Government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person staying at the hostel.

C. Foreign nationals are required to present their passport and valid visa.

D. Indian nationals can present any of the following ID’s: Passport; Driving license; Voter ID Card or Aadhar Card. 

Note: Pan Card will be not be accepted as a valid ID proof.

E. In case the guest arrives earlier than the check-in time, they can hang out in the common area till the bed/room is ready. However, if the guests are arriving as early as 05:00 hrs, it is highly recommended to book a bed for the previous night to ensure a good night’s sleep.

F. Check-out time at all our hostels is up to 9:00 hrs. Late check-out can be available on prior request and is subject to availability. The guests, however, can wait at the common areas until the time of departure.

2) Booking Policy

A. All guests must be of at least 18 years of age to be able to check-in at the Hostel.

B. In case of 3 or 4 people travelling together, please note that we do not guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room.

C. Before proceeding with the group booking, we do not allow beyond 8 people(even the bookings are made in multiple installments through any booking platform.

D. Extension of the stay would be provided on current room rates and are subject to availability.

– Current room rates may be different from the rates at which the rooms were booked.

E. If the guest’s behavior is deemed unfit at the property, at any time during the stay, the hostel management/Property Manager reserves all rights, upon subjective evaluation, to ask the guest to vacate the premises and no refund shall be processed in these circumstances

F. Any group bookings which has not been authorised in advance, or has been made by several individuals/ separate bookings to make it appear as though it is not a group can be cancelled or denied at any time in advance or on arrival.

G. Right to admission is reserved

3) Smoking Policy

A. All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas, (for eg: Every floor in Woosah-Leh has a open balcony with Ash tray embeded dust bins).

B. Drugs/Substance abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.

4) Pet Policy

– Outside pets are strictly not allowed in the premises of the hostel.

5) General Policy

A. Visitor(Non resident guests) are not allowed inside the rooms. In case you want to invite someone, you can meet with them in the common areas/Cafeteria between 10:00AM-7:00PM. Note: Visitors are not allowed inside the rooms/Dorms, at anytime.

B. Woosah is committed towards solo travellers and young backpackers and hence we do not recommend families to stay with us. In case you are travelling with a family, a hotel would be more suitable to your needs.

C. Guests with Local IDs will not be allowed admission.

D. Different destinations and properties may have different policies during specific times of the year.

E. Guest are responsible for their own personal belongings. Hostel in any way is not responsible items for lost items/belongings.

F. Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Hostel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the hostel, the hostel reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest.

G. Breakfast is not inclusive of the room rate cited. It is charged over and extra at the property only.

H. Certain polices are booking specific and they are notified at the time of booking.

I. All of our hostels are CCTV enabled for safety, security, and checks/audits reasons.

J. Guests shall be liable for any damage except normal wear and tear to hostel assets. Guest shall keep the hostel room in a good condition, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.

K. The guest shall be deemed unfit to continue any further at any of our hostels in case of drug abuse, non-adherence of guest and booking policies, misbehavior (Physical/mental/verbal or in any kind), theft, personal hygiene, vandalism, trespassing, non-payment/delay in payment of dues, other guest inconveniences or any such unwarranted actions. In all such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refunds.

L. Power backup is available only at Woosah-Leh and not at all Woosah properties.

6) Cancellation Policy
-Cancellation(Hostels)

 A. Advance taken online or at the time of reservations is strictly non-refundable.

-Cancellation(Trips)

A. All trip cancellations, if informed 15 days prior to the departure or check-in date, shall be eligible for a 100% refund in the form of TH credits with a lifetime validity. In case any trip cancellations happen within 15 days of departure or check-in date, there wouldn’t be ANY refund and will attract 100% cancellation charges.

7) Covid-Regulation policy

A. We shall accommodate people as per guidelines issued by the state or the central government and all guests are advised to adhere to it strictly.

B. We advise our guests to do a pre-arrival check-in to ensure contactless service. We shall be sending pre-arrival check-in email to all the bookers.

C. Thermal checks, travel history, Aarogya setu app download, luggage & footwear sanitisation shall be done on arrival.

D. Our staff is trained specially for post Covid-19 hygiene & cleanliness measures to ensure your safety.

E. Cleanliness policy: 3 times per day (Clean, sanitise, repeat)

F. Timings of common spaces, kitchen, play-area, etc. may be restricted to ensure 100% cleaning & social distancing measures as per management’s discretion.

G. Our cafe is also sanitised 3 times a day to ensure servicing our guests with freshly prepared food.

H. All guests are advised to be 100% compliant with GoI or state guidelines & documentations.

I. Rights to admission is reserved with the hostel management without any refund liability.

J. Guests are advised to strictly follow management guidelines & ensure social distancing at all costs.
